Plane Ticket

Went to the Spanish Consulate on Wilshire last week. What a piece of work. Some of paperwork said I didn't need a plane ticket already purchased, some said I did. My friend who went to the San Fransisco Consulate didn't need one. I did.

So my flight out is January 29 and my return date is June 9th. All for the fabulous price of $698.00 -- every other ticket I found on a variety of dates was at LEAST $900 and the next step up from there was $1200 and then $1500. My classes end the 22nd of May, and graduation is June 12th. I didn't want to rush home, but I decided that graduation was a good goal to make it home for. I took what I could get, and I think two and a half weeks will be plenty of time after for traveling. Who knows where I can go. Couches will become my friends.

Until next time....

Paperwork and checks are in the mail to the Education Abroad Program in Santa Barbara. Very excited. Not quite sure how I'm going to keep organized but I'm working on it. I have an email out to a friend who is currently living in Spain and asked him to find out what kind of clothing I should pack for the time I'm there.

I'm excited but I'm nervous. Orientation is February 1st. I want to travel with Emily beforehand, probably to Italy. YAY!
